Ever stumble across one of those weird little Game Boy games that makes you go, "Wait, what is this?" That's Peke to Poko no Daruman Busters for you. It's Japan-only, so unless you're fluent in moonrunes (or just really good at guessing), you'll be smashing buttons to figure out what's happening. From what I can tell, you control these two little critters—Peke and Poko—running around busting up... darumans? Yeah, those round red dolls. It's got that classic early Game Boy charm—simple, kinda janky, but weirdly satisfying once you get into it.
Controls are basic, but the screen scrolls in this odd way where you have to keep both characters on-screen at once. Mess that up, and you're resetting positions. Not gonna lie, it takes some getting used to. But there's something about the chunky sprites and that tinny Game Boy soundtrack that makes it hard to put down once you start. Definitely one for the "obscure retro" crowd.
