Peetan is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never left Japan—a puzzle-platformer with a cute, chubby penguin as the star. You hop between icy blocks, sliding around and dodging enemies that look like they escaped from a kid’s doodle notebook. The controls take a second to get used to (why does he slide so much?), but once you figure out the momentum, it’s oddly satisfying to zip around.

First level throws you right into it: you’re pushing blocks, avoiding these bouncing snowball guys, and trying not to fall into pits. The music’s got that classic Game Boy chirpiness—catchy in a way that sticks in your head longer than it should. If you’re into obscure retro stuff, this one’s a neat curiosity. Just don’t expect a deep story—it’s all about the puzzles and that penguin’s wobbly walk.
