About Peek-a-boo Poker
Peek-A-Boo Poker came out in 1991 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, published by Panesian. It was one of a few unlicensed games they released that year, known more for their adult content than their gameplay. These titles had a very limited distribution and are now quite rare to find.
You play video poker against a computer opponent. The main objective is to win hands and build your score. The signature mechanic is that winning a hand removes a piece of clothing from the female character on screen, eventually revealing nudity. The poker itself is straightforward, but the pacing is slow and the game offers little strategic depth. It feels more like a novelty than a serious card game.
