Palamedes is one of those weird little Game Boy puzzlers that somehow makes rolling dice stressful. Instead of matching colors or clearing blocks, you're frantically trying to line up dice rolls—sounds simple, but the speed ramps up fast. The first few levels trick you into thinking it's chill, then suddenly you're sweating over whether to go for a quick pair or hold out for a triple.
It's got that classic early puzzle game vibe where the rules take a second to click, but once they do, you're hooked. The dice mechanic gives it a different feel from Tetris or Dr. Mario, even if the panic feels familiar. Just don't blame me when you start seeing numbers in your sleep.
