Palamedes is one of those weird little puzzle games that makes you go, "Wait, dice?" At first glance, it looks like a stripped-down Tetris clone, but instead of blocks, you're dealing with numbered dice rolling down the screen. Your job? Match the numbers by shooting dice from your stash at the bottom.
It sounds simple, but things get hectic fast—especially when you realize you can only shoot the numbers currently on screen. The Game Boy version keeps it clean and straightforward, though the NES one has a bit more flair. Either way, it’s a solid time-killer if you dig quick-thinking puzzlers with a twist. Just don’t blame me when you start seeing dice in your sleep.
