Painter Momopie (japan) Game

Painter Momopie is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never left Japan—which is a shame, because it’s oddly charming. You play as this round, pastel-colored blob (Momopie, I guess?) who rolls around painting floors and walls while dodging enemies. It’s like a mix of Qix and a coloring book, but with this weirdly satisfying "plop" sound every time you fill in a block.
The controls take a second to get used to—you don’t jump, just roll and change direction—but once it clicks, you’ll be frantically trying to box in enemies before they mess up your freshly painted floors. The music’s got that classic Game Boy bleep-bloop charm too. Not gonna lie, it’s simple, but there’s something weirdly addictive about watching the screen slowly fill with color.
If you’re into obscure retro puzzlers, this one’s worth a few minutes of your time.
