Painter Momo Pie Game

Painter Momo Pie is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that makes you smile the second you boot it up. You play as Momo, this tiny artist with a paintbrush bigger than she is, and your job is basically to color in these surreal, scribbly landscapes while dodging ink blobs and grumpy art critics (seriously).
The first level throws you into this pastel dreamscape where you’re filling in giant flowers—sounds simple, but then the clouds start raining eraser dust and you realize this isn’t just a coloring book. The music’s got that classic bouncy Game Boy charm, and the controls are satisfyingly chunky, like you’re really dragging a brush across the screen.
What I love is how it gets progressively unhinged. Later levels have you painting inside a giant’s sandwich or fixing a sky that’s literally crumbling. It’s short, but the kind of game you replay just to see what bizarre scenario they’ll throw at you next. Perfect for when you want something cheerful but with just enough weirdness to keep it interesting.
