Pachinko Saiyuuki (japan) Game

Pachinko Saiyuuki is one of those weird little Game Boy oddities—basically a pachinko game dressed up with characters from Journey to the West. You know, Sun Wukong, Pigsy, all that crew. It’s exactly what it sounds like: tiny steel balls bouncing down a maze of pins while pixel-art demons and monks cheer (or boo) from the sidelines.
Not gonna lie, it’s pretty niche. The physics are janky in that classic early handheld way, and half the time you’re just watching the ball ricochet helplessly. But there’s something weirdly charming about the mashup of gambling mechanics and Chinese mythology. If you’re into retro curios or just love pachinko’s hypnotic randomness, it’s a neat time capsule. Otherwise? Maybe stick to Pokémon.
Also, yeah, you can totally play it on an emulator now—no dusty Game Boy required.
