Pac-In-Time is this weird little Game Boy gem where Pac-Man ditches the maze and goes full-on platformer. You jump, climb ladders, and dodge enemies across five different worlds—which, honestly, feels strange at first when you're used to chomping pellets in a maze. But it grows on you.
The controls take a second to get used to—Pac's a little floaty when he jumps—but once you adjust, it's got that classic "just one more try" energy. Some levels even let you throw rocks at enemies, which is way more satisfying than it should be. The music's surprisingly catchy too, in that tinny Game Boy way.
It's not the deepest game, but there's something charming about seeing Pac-Man in a completely different style. If you dig retro platformers with a twist, it's worth a look.
