P'radikus Conflict, The (unl) Game

P'radikus Conflict is one of those weird, obscure NES games that somehow slipped under the radar back in the day. It's a side-scrolling shooter with some seriously chunky pixel art—like, your ship looks like it was built out of LEGO bricks. The first level throws you right into chaos with enemies swarming from all directions, and the controls take a second to get used to (why does "B" feel so stiff?).
But once you adjust, there's something oddly satisfying about blasting through waves of abstract alien ships while this tinny, repetitive soundtrack loops in the background. It's not Gradius or R-Type, but it's got its own janky charm. Just don't expect a deep story—half the text is Engrish anyway.
If you're into digging up forgotten NES oddities, this one's a trip. Just keep your expectations in check.
