You control the cursor to place your black or white discs on the 8x8 grid. The main objective is to end the game with more of your color discs on the board than your opponent's. The core mechanics are the same as the physical game: you flank your opponent's discs to flip them to your side, and the game automatically calculates all valid moves for you. The pacing is methodical, and the computer opponent provides a decent challenge, forcing you to think several moves ahead.
