Othello World on Game Boy is exactly what it sounds like—classic Othello, but portable. You start off thinking, "Oh, it's just flipping tiles, how hard can it be?" Then the AI casually traps you in a corner by move five, and suddenly you're sweating over every placement.

The controls are simple—d-pad to move, A to place—but the strategy isn’t. The computer opponents actually put up a decent fight, especially on higher difficulties. I lost more times than I’d like to admit before figuring out that early aggression usually backfires.
