Othello for the Game Boy—yeah, the classic black-and-white board game. It’s one of those weirdly rare cartridges, which is funny because you’d think Nintendo would’ve cranked these out by the truckload. The AI’s decent for an old handheld, though it still falls for the same corner traps every time if you set it up right.
Controls are simple: d-pad to move, A to place your piece. The screen’s tiny, but the grid’s clear enough once you get used to it. I lost my first match in like five minutes because I got greedy flipping tiles early. Classic mistake.
If you dig retro handheld oddities, this one’s a neat little time-waster.
