Osawagase! Penguin Boy is one of those weird, charming Game Boy titles that makes you go, "Wait, what?" at first glance. You play as a penguin—yes, a penguin—who's constantly sliding around on ice, dodging obstacles, and trying not to fall into pits. The controls are slippery by design, which makes every jump feel like a gamble. One wrong move and you're toast.
It's got that classic early '90s vibe with simple but surprisingly tough level design. The music is upbeat in that tinny Game Boy way, and the penguin's little waddle animation is oddly endearing. Not gonna lie, it took me a few tries to get the hang of the momentum, but once it clicks, it's weirdly satisfying. If you're into quirky retro platformers, this one's a neat little time capsule.
