Nushi Tsuri 64 is one of those weirdly relaxing N64 fishing games that somehow makes sitting by a digital lake for hours actually fun. You start off with basic gear—nothing fancy—but the fish actually fight back like they should, not just mindlessly biting every hook. The water effects are surprisingly decent for the N64, and there’s something satisfying about reeling in a big one just before it snaps your line.
It’s not all about patience, though. You’ll unlock better rods and lures as you go, and some spots hide rarer fish that’ll test your timing. The music’s chill, the scenery’s simple but nice, and yeah, it’s definitely more of a slow-burn game—perfect if you just want to zone out and pretend you’re not stuck inside. If you’ve ever wasted an afternoon on real fishing, this somehow captures that same weirdly addictive vibe.
