Noah's Ark came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, published by Konami. It was one of those many platformers from the era that tried to build a full game around a simple concept, in this case the biblical story. You don't see it discussed much, but it has its own particular rhythm.

You control Noah, moving screen by screen through side scrolling levels. Your main goal is to rescue the animals, two of each kind, and guide them back to the ark. The signature mechanics involve using a slingshot to stun enemies and a whistle to call the animals to follow you. You also do a lot of jumping across platforms and avoiding environmental hazards. The pacing is methodical, as you must often backtrack carefully with your animal train in tow, and the difficulty comes from managing all of them at once without losing any. It feels like a patient, slightly fussy puzzle dressed in an action game's clothes.
