Nishimura Kyoutarou Mystery - Super Express Satsujin Jiken (japan) Game
📅 1989

Ever played one of those old-school Japanese mystery games where you're basically a detective on a train? That's Nishimura Kyoutarou Mystery in a nutshell. You're stuck on this express train with a bunch of passengers, and—surprise—someone gets murdered. Now you've gotta poke around, question everyone, and piece together clues before the killer strikes again.
It's all in Japanese, so unless you're fluent, you'll be relying on guides or trial-and-error. The pixel art has that classic NES charm, though, and there's something oddly satisfying about slowly unraveling the mystery, even if you're just guessing half the time. The train setting makes it feel claustrophobic in a good way—like you're really racing against the clock.
Definitely not for everyone, but if you're into retro detective games, it's a neat little time capsule.
