Nigel Mansells World Championshipchallenge Game
📅 1992 ✍️ Gremlin Interactive

Nigel Mansell’s World Championship on NES is one of those old-school racers that feels punishing at first—until you get the hang of drifting around tight corners without smashing into barriers. The weather actually matters here, too; rain turns the track into a slippery mess, and you’ll be white-knuckling the controller trying not to spin out.
What’s cool is that Mansell himself pops up between races to give tips (though half the time I just wanted him to get out of the way so I could retry Monaco). The AI drivers don’t mess around either—they’ll shove you into the dirt if you leave an opening. It’s not the prettiest F1 game by today’s standards, but nailing a perfect lap still feels satisfying.
