New Sd Gundam Game

New SD Gundam on Game Boy is one of those classic mecha battlers that somehow makes tiny pixels feel massive. You start off picking your Gundam—I always went for the heavy hitter even though it moves like a tank—and then it’s straight into grid-based skirmishes where positioning matters way more than you’d think at first glance.
The sprites are chunky but weirdly charming, and there’s something satisfying about watching your little robot unleash a beam saber attack that takes up half the screen. It’s got that old-school vibe where you’ll restart a mission three times just to nail the perfect turn order. Not gonna lie, some of the later stages get brutal if you don’t upgrade your units right.
If you’ve got nostalgia for early Gundam games or just love tactical combat that doesn’t overcomplicate things, this one’s a solid time capsule. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you.
