Nettou Garou Densetsu 2 is the Game Boy port of Fatal Fury 2, and honestly? It’s impressive how much they crammed into that tiny cartridge. You’ve got Terry, Andy, Joe, and a few others throwing fireballs and dragon punches in monochrome glory. The sprites are chunky but weirdly charming, and the controls are simple—just two attack buttons plus a dodge.

It’s not as smooth as the arcade version, obviously, but the fact that you can take this on the go (well, if you had a Game Boy in the ‘90s) still feels kinda wild. The AI loves to spam special moves, so prepare for some cheap deaths. Still, landing a Power Geyser on the tiny screen never gets old.

If you’re into retro fighting games, this one’s a neat little time capsule.
