Nanonote is one of those weird little Game Boy curios—Japan-only, kinda niche, but oddly charming once you get into it. It's got this minimalist puzzle vibe where you're stacking and matching colored blocks, but there's a twist: everything moves in real-time, so you're constantly scrambling to keep things from piling up too high.

The controls take a second to click (classic Game Boy jank), but once they do, it's weirdly satisfying to clear a screen just before everything collapses. The music’s got that classic chiptune pep, too—way catchier than it has any right to be.

Definitely not for everyone, but if you’re into retro puzzle games with a quirky edge, this one’s a neat deep cut.
