Namco Classic (japan) Game

Namco Classic is one of those weird little Famicom exclusives that never made it overseas—which is a shame, because it's actually a solid golf game for its time. You get a simple top-down view of the course, wind indicators, and that satisfying click when you nail the power meter just right. The greens feel a bit unforgiving at first, but once you get the hang of judging slopes, sinking long putts feels way more rewarding than it should.
It’s not as flashy as later golf games, but there’s something oddly relaxing about the chunky pixel fairways and the way your ball bounces with just the right amount of arcade physics. If you’ve ever wanted to see what Japanese NES golf looked like before everyone copied Mario Golf, this is a fun little time capsule.
