This one's a real deep cut—a 1991 Game Boy F1 racing game starring Japanese driver Satoru Nakajima. You get these chunky little pixel cars that somehow feel fast despite the hardware limits, sliding around tight corners with that classic Game Boy d-pad precision (or lack thereof).
The career mode throws you straight into qualifiers, and man, those early races are brutal until you figure out the braking points. There's something oddly satisfying about nailing Monaco's hairpins on that tiny green screen. Not gonna lie, the AI drivers can be ruthless—they'll squeeze you into walls without a second thought.
It's definitely a product of its time, but if you're into retro racing games, this one's got that weird charm only early handheld racers could pull off.
