Nfl Quarterback Club (japan) Game

NFL Quarterback Club on the Game Boy was Acclaim's first stab at portable football back in '94, and man, does it feel like it. You get the basics—pass, run, tackle—but don't expect Madden-level depth. The sprites are tiny, the playbook is slim, and sometimes it's hard to tell who's who in those pixelated jerseys.
Still, there's something charming about how stripped-down it is. You pick a team, call a play (good luck reading the tiny menus), and then it's all about timing your throws before some linebacker crushes your QB. The running game feels stiff, but hitting a deep pass? Weirdly satisfying for a Game Boy sports title.
It's more of a nostalgia trip than a must-play, but if you're into retro football games, it's a neat little time capsule.
