NBA Jam on Game Boy is pure arcade chaos—no realistic sim stuff here. You get two-on-two basketball where players dunk from half-court, catch fire after three buckets in a row, and shatter backboards like they're made of glass. The controls are simple (pass, shoot, turbo), but pulling off ridiculous alley-oops never gets old.
It’s missing some of the flair of the arcade version—no announcer yelling "BOOMSHAKALAKA"—but the core madness is intact. Just don’t expect deep strategy. This is all about slamming down monster jams and laughing when your opponent gets launched into orbit after a hard foul.
If you’ve got a Game Boy and even a passing interest in basketball, it’s a solid time-killer with that classic Midway energy.
