You pick from a selection of NBA teams, controlling two players on the court. The main goal is to outscore your opponent in a series of two-on-two matches. The signature mechanics are the exaggerated jumps for massive dunks and the ability to shove opponents to steal the ball. The game moves at a very fast pace, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as you face stronger teams. It feels frantic and satisfying to pull off a long-range shot just before the buzzer.
