About Nba In The Zone 2 (j)
NBA In The Zone 2 came out for the Nintendo 64 in 1996, published by Konami. It was one of the early basketball games on the system, arriving when 3D sports titles were still finding their footing. You got a solid arcade style basketball experience without the complexity of some later simulations.
You control a full team of five players, running plays, taking jump shots, and driving to the hoop for dunks. The main goal is to outscore the opposing team within four quarters. Key mechanics include a turbo button for quick bursts of speed and a dedicated button for flashy alley oop passes and dunks. The game moves at a fast pace, and the difficulty can spike, especially when the computer starts hitting contested shots.
