About Nba All Star Challenge 2 (japan)
NBA All Star Challenge 2 was a Japan only release for the original Game Boy, part of that era where sports games were finding their feet on handhelds. I'm not sure who exactly developed or published it, but it fits right in with the other cartridges from that time, simple and direct.
You control a team of basketball players, moving them up and down the court to score baskets against the opposing team. The main goal is to win the game by outscoring your opponent before the clock runs out. The gameplay involves passing the ball between your players, attempting shots from various distances, and playing defense to try and steal the ball or block shots. The pacing is quick, with the action moving from one end of the court to the other, and the difficulty can feel sharp, especially when the computer starts making long range shots. It feels like a fast, condensed version of basketball that fits in your pocket.
