Ever heard of Mr. Go no Baken Tekichuu Jutsu? It’s one of those weird little Game Boy gems from Japan that never made it overseas. You play as this tiny sumo wrestler—Mr. Go—who’s basically just a round blob with arms, bouncing around trying to knock opponents out of the ring. The controls are simple, but the physics are surprisingly fun once you get the hang of it.
At first, I thought it was just a basic sumo game, but there’s actually some strategy—timing your jumps and dodges matters way more than just mashing buttons. And the opponents get hilariously aggressive later on. It’s not deep, but it’s got that classic Game Boy charm where the simplicity kind of works in its favor.
If you’re into obscure retro stuff, this one’s a neat little curiosity to try.
