About Mr. Do! (europe)
I first played Mr. Do! on the Game Boy back in 1992. Ocean Software handled the port, bringing the arcade clown to the small screen. It was a time when simple, quick action games fit perfectly with portable play, and this one was no exception.
You control Mr. Do, a clown armed with a bouncing ball. Your goal is to clear each screen by either collecting all the cherries or defeating every monster. You can dig tunnels through the dirt to move around and trap enemies, or you can drop apples on their heads. The monsters get faster and more numerous as you progress, so you have to keep moving and think a step ahead. It feels frantic but satisfying when you clear a tricky stage.
