Mortal Kombat I & Ii Game

Mortal Kombat I & II on Game Boy is basically a tiny miracle—somehow they crammed all the blood, sweat, and spine-ripping action of the arcade originals into that little gray brick. You’ve got Scorpion’s spear, Sub-Zero’s ice blast, and yeah, the fatalities are here too (though good luck seeing the pixelated gore on that pea-sized screen).
First match in, you’ll realize the controls are way simpler than you remember—just two attack buttons and a block. But don’t let that fool you; timing a flawless uppercut or nailing Liu Kang’s bicycle kick still feels stupidly satisfying. The AI cheats like crazy on higher difficulties, though. Goro will wreck you.
It’s wild how well these hold up. The music’s tinny but weirdly hype, and the roster’s stacked with classics. Just don’t expect the full arcade experience—some animations are choppy, and the screen crunch means you’ll eat a lot of random fireballs. Still, for portable ’90s brutality? Unbeatable.
