Monster Race Other Game

Monster Race Other is one of those weird little Game Boy racers that somehow sticks with you. You pick from these chunky, pixelated monsters—some look like dinosaurs, others like mutant bugs—and then just floor it through these wild, looping tracks. The controls are simple, but the later courses get brutal with tight turns and surprise obstacles.
What I love is how each monster handles differently. The turtle’s slow but can plow through stuff, while the bat thing is fast but slides all over the place. Took me a few crashes to figure out my favorite (the scorpion, hands down). The music’s got that classic Game Boy bleep-bloop energy too—catchy in a way only retro games manage.
It’s not the deepest racer, but there’s something satisfying about shoving opponents off cliffs or barely skidding past a finish line. Perfect for quick sessions when you just want to zone out and race weird creatures.
