Monster in My Pocket came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, published by Konami. It was part of that wave of games based on toys and other media, a common sight on the NES. You play as one of two pocket-sized monsters, Vampire or Frankenstein, who have to fight a horde of other monsters that have invaded a suburban house.

You move from screen to screen, punching and kicking your way through enemies like mummies and werewolves. The main goal is to rescue your friend who has been captured, clearing each area of monsters. You can find power-ups to throw fireballs or use a special screen-clearing attack, and there is some light platforming to navigate the house's rooms. The game moves at a quick pace and can get fairly difficult, especially with the number of enemies it throws at you. It feels like a straightforward, energetic brawler where you are constantly swarmed.
