About Momotarou Dengeki 2 (japan)
Momotarou Dengeki 2 came out for the Game Boy in 1991 from Hudson Soft. It was part of that early wave of portable games, where developers were figuring out how to make adventures work on that small, green-tinted screen. This one is a Japan-only sequel, so you had to either import it or find it later through other means.
You control Momotarou, a boy from Japanese folklore, and your goal is to save the land from invading demons. The game plays out screen by screen; you move through villages, forests, and dungeons, fighting enemies with your sword and a bow. You collect special items, like the hidden treasure balls, to progress and power up. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you rush into areas unprepared.
