Mitsume Ga Tooru is one of those weird, obscure NES games that never made it outside Japan—which is a shame, because it's got this bizarre charm. You play as this kid with a third eye (yeah, really) who shoots lasers and jumps around these trippy, colorful levels. The controls are a little stiff at first, but once you get used to it, blasting enemies with your forehead beam feels oddly satisfying.
It’s got that classic '90s anime vibe, with sprites that look like they jumped straight out of an old manga. Some of the platforming can be brutal, though—expect a few cheap deaths before you figure out the timing. Still, if you’re into quirky action games, this one’s worth digging up.
