Mission Impossible on N64 is one of those sneaky, methodical games where you actually feel like a spy—if you don’t mind some janky late-90s controls. You start off rappelling into a snowy embassy, immediately getting that classic "wait, how do I even crouch?" moment before realizing guards will spot you in seconds if you just run in guns blazing.
The levels are these weirdly satisfying puzzle-boxes—disguises, keycard swipes, hacking minigames that feel like they were designed by someone who’d only heard of computers. The Spain version’s identical to the US one as far as I can tell, just with Spanish text. Graphics are blocky as hell, but the tension when you’re hiding in a vent while guards patrol below still holds up.
Honestly, half the fun is failing spectacularly and reloading until you nail that perfect silent takedown.
