Missile Command Game

Missile Command on Game Boy is that classic arcade panic in your pocket—you’ve got six cities to defend, and missiles just keep raining down. At first, it seems simple: tap to launch counter-missiles, blow stuff up before it hits. But then the screen fills up, your fingers get twitchy, and suddenly you’re sweating over pixelated explosions.
The controls are straightforward (d-pad moves the cursor, A fires), but the chaos ramps up fast. Bombs split into smaller warheads, satellites drop surprise attacks, and that ominous beeping as missiles close in never gets less stressful. I kept losing my first city way too early until I realized—you gotta prioritize. Sometimes letting one go saves three others.
It’s still the same ’80s arcade vibe, just shrunk down with that chunky Game Boy contrast. The soundtrack’s basically just urgent bleeps, which honestly adds to the tension. If you dig old-school score chasers or just want to see how long you can last before everything’s rubble, this one’s a solid time capsule.
