Mini Putt on NES is exactly what it sounds like—a tiny, no-frills golf game that somehow nails that "just one more round" feeling. You've got a simple top-down view, a few basic clubs, and greens that look like they were drawn in MS Paint (in the best way). The physics are janky in that classic NES way—hit the ball too hard and it’ll ricochet off the screen edges like a pinball.

At first, I thought it was way too basic, but then I lost an hour trying to sink a hole-in-one on the third course. There’s something weirdly satisfying about the way the ball rolls, especially when you barely clip the edge of a sand trap and it somehow still goes in. If you’re into retro sports games that don’t take themselves seriously, this one’s a hidden gem.
