Miner 2049er Game

Miner 2049er on Game Boy is one of those old-school platformers that looks simple but will absolutely wreck you if you’re not careful. You play as Bounty Bob, this little dude in a hardhat who has to claim every single tile of a mine level before time runs out—and trust me, those radioactive blobs and weird floating enemies do not want you to succeed.
The first few levels ease you in, but then the jumps get tighter, the platforms start disappearing, and suddenly you’re sweating over pixel-perfect timing. The controls take a minute to get used to—Bob has this weird floaty jump—but once it clicks, you’ll be hopping between conveyor belts and dodging hazards like a pro.
It’s got that classic “just one more try” energy, even when you’ve fallen into the same pit five times in a row. The chiptune soundtrack is weirdly catchy too. If you’re into retro games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a solid time capsule.
