About Milon's Secret Castle
Milon's Secret Castle came out for the Game Boy in 1986, developed by Hudson Soft. It was part of that early wave of games trying to figure out what a portable adventure could be. You don't get a long story or much explanation; the castle is just there, waiting.
You control a boy named Milon who explores the castle room by room. Your goal is to find the six crystals hidden inside. You move through screens methodically, using bubbles to defeat enemies and reveal hidden blocks and doors. The pacing is slow and deliberate, as you carefully search each area for secrets. It feels like a quiet, solitary puzzle box you are trying to patiently unlock.
