Milo's Astro Lanes came out for the Nintendo 64 in 1998, published by Crave Entertainment. It was part of that wave of N64 games that tried something a little different, moving away from the usual platformers and racers. This one put you in a bowling alley, but not any alley you'd find on Earth.

You control a cartoonish character, rolling a ball down cosmic lanes set in space. The main goal is to knock down all the pins, just like regular bowling, but the lanes are full of obstacles, ramps, and moving parts. Two big mechanics change everything: you can collect power-ups that do things like turn your ball into a bomb or give you a wider shot, and you have to deal with the lane itself shifting or having gaps. The game starts simple but the later stages get pretty tricky, forcing you to time your shots around moving barriers. It feels like a chaotic, sci-fi twist on a classic game.
