If you grew up with the Power Rangers movie in the '90s, this Game Boy adaptation is pure nostalgia fuel. You jump right into the action as your favorite Ranger—I always picked the Red one, obviously—bashing through Ivan Ooze’s goons with basic but satisfying punches and kicks. The sprites are tiny but surprisingly detailed for a Game Boy title, and the levels follow the movie’s plot pretty closely, from the city streets to the weird alien jungle.
It’s not the deepest beat-'em-up out there, but the morphing sequences (complete with that iconic theme song) still give me chills. Just don’t expect SNES-level graphics—this is a stripped-down portable version, so some stages feel a little repetitive. Still, if you’ve got a soft spot for the Rangers, it’s a fun little time capsule.
