Midori No Makibaou (japan) Game

Midori no Makibaou is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never left Japan—sort of a puzzle game mixed with a block-breaking arcade thing. You play as this green... thing (honestly, looks like a deranged frog) bouncing around a grid, trying to clear blocks by matching colors. The controls take a second to click, but once they do, it’s oddly satisfying to chain combos while dodging enemies.
First time I played, I kept getting stuck because I didn’t realize some blocks only break from certain angles. The music’s got that classic Game Boy charm—tinny but weirdly catchy. If you’re into obscure retro puzzlers, this one’s got enough quirks to keep you busy for a while.
