Mickey Mouse II on the Game Boy is one of those weird little platformers that feels like it got lost in translation. You're basically bouncing around colorful levels as Mickey, collecting stars and dodging enemies—nothing groundbreaking, but it's got that early '90s charm. The controls are a bit stiff, but once you get used to them, it's oddly satisfying to hop between platforms while Disney music plays in the background.
First level throws you right into it—no tutorial, just Mickey running and jumping like he's late for a cartoon shoot. The Japanese version has some quirks, like slightly different sprites and text, but it's still the same simple, cheerful game. If you're into retro Disney stuff, it's a neat little time capsule.
