Mia Hamm Soccer 64 game

Mia Hamm Soccer 64 is one of those N64 sports games that actually holds up—especially if you're into soccer. The controls are simple enough to pick up fast, but there's some real depth if you dig into the passing and positioning. And yeah, it’s cool to see a game centered around women’s soccer back in the late '90s.

First thing you’ll notice? The animations are smoother than most N64 sports titles, and the stadiums actually feel alive. Play a few matches, and you start noticing little details—like how defenders react differently when you’re sprinting down the wing versus holding up play. The multiplayer is where it shines, though. Grab a friend, pick your teams (USA vs. China was always my go-to), and it gets chaotic in the best way.

Not gonna lie, the commentary gets repetitive after a while, but the gameplay more than makes up for it. If you’ve got an N64 and even a passing interest in soccer, this one’s worth a few matches.
