Metroid Ii Dx Game

Metroid II DX takes the already-great Game Boy original and gives it a nice visual bump—everything’s a little sharper, the colors pop more, and Samus’ suit actually looks like it’s glowing in some areas. You still start off with just your wimpy little arm cannon, but stumbling into your first missile upgrade feels just as satisfying as ever.
The planet SR388 is all winding tunnels and eerie silence, broken only by the skittering of alien bugs or the sudden screech of a Metroid swooping in. The first time one of those jellyfish-looking freaks latches onto your face? Yeah, you’ll panic. But figuring out how to freeze and shatter them never gets old.
It’s classic Metroid—getting lost, backtracking once you find a new ability, that moment when the map finally clicks in your head. If you’ve played the original, the tweaks here are subtle but nice. If you haven’t? This is the best way to experience one of the weirder, moodier entries in the series.
