Meitantei Conan Game

Alright, so Meitantei Conan on Game Boy is basically like playing through a few episodes of the anime—if you were actually the one solving the cases. You start off investigating crime scenes, picking up random objects (why is there always a single glove left behind?), and interrogating suspects who all look suspiciously shifty in that classic pixel-art style.
The puzzles aren’t just "find the key" stuff either—some of them make you stop and think, like piecing together torn notes or spotting contradictions in witness statements. I got stuck early on because I kept missing tiny details in the background, which, honestly, feels pretty true to being an actual detective. The dialogue’s all in Japanese, but if you know the series or have played enough adventure games, you can kinda brute-force your way through.
It’s definitely a niche pick, but if you’re into old-school point-and-click mysteries or just love Conan’s whole "kid genius trapped in a child’s body" schtick, it’s a fun little time capsule. Just don’t expect Phoenix Wright-level courtroom drama—most of the action happens before the culprit starts sweating.
