Meimon! Dai San Yakyuu Bu came out in 1989 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, published by Taito. It was part of that wave of late 80s Japanese baseball games that never made it outside the region, a straightforward sports title for its time.
You control a high school baseball team, managing the roster and playing through full games to win the championship.
