So Last Bible II is this weird little Game Boy RPG spin-off from the Megami Tensei series—you know, the one that eventually gave us Persona. It’s got that same demon negotiation and fusion stuff, but crammed into a tiny black-and-white handheld. The first game got an English release as Revelations: The Demon Slayer, but this one? Nope. Japan-only, no translation.
You start off in this medieval-ish town, recruiting monsters to fight for you instead of just killing them. Some of the sprites are hilariously chunky, but the music’s got that classic early ‘90s RPG charm. If you’ve played any of the early SMT games, it’s like a stripped-down, portable version of that—but good luck figuring out the menus if you don’t know Japanese.
Honestly, it’s more of a curiosity than anything, but if you’re into obscure JRPGs, it’s a neat piece of history. Just bring a guide.
