Medarot - Parts Collection is one of those weird little Game Boy sequels that flew under the radar outside Japan. It builds on the first Parts Collection game, but with more robot parts to mix and match—some of the new combos are ridiculous in the best way. You start off tinkering with your Medabot, swapping arms and legs like some mad scientist, and before long you're knee-deep in battles where strategy matters way more than you'd expect from a game about toy robots.

It's got that classic Medarot charm—goofy dialogue, oddly specific customization, and fights that make you actually think about how your bot's parts work together. The pixel art still holds up, especially when your weird little creation pulls off some flashy attack you didn't even know it could do. If you liked the first one, this is more of that, just slightly shinier.
