About Mechanized Attack
Mechanized Attack came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989, published by SNK. It was part of that wave of late 80s NES games where developers were pushing the hardware with more complex military themed shooters.
You control a soldier manning the gun turret on a naval vessel. Your main goal is to defend your ship by destroying all enemy forces as you advance through each stage. The gameplay involves shooting down aircraft, bombing enemy ships, and eliminating soldiers in the water. You can collect power ups to upgrade your weapon, switching between a standard shot and a more powerful spread shot. The game moves at a steady pace, but the difficulty ramps up quickly with swarms of enemies and tricky attack patterns. It feels tense and demanding, requiring constant focus to survive the onslaught.
